- Responded 4 Sep 2019 · This is a tough question to answer and I'd not consider the following definitive! A good overview seems to be available via the National Kidney Foundation with their page "Having children after transplant? 10 frequently asked questions" (https://www.kidney.org/transplantation/transaction/TC/Summer13/Having-Children-after-Transplant). I found this paper "Pregnancy after renal transplantation: points to consider" (https://academic.oup.com/ndt/article/17/5/703/1818569#27846534) from 2002 but I'm concerned it's a bit dated! So to counter that I did a search on Scholar for articles that cited this one, restricting those to post 2015. You can see the results here http://bit.ly/transplant_pregnancy Hopefully others can add additional infomation Conflict of interest declaration: None
